An E-Team building for human leadership

At a time when teleworking is in the daily headlines and when social contacts are increasingly rare, what about the morale of the troops? According to the latest statistics, the latter has taken quite a blow! The pandemic has harmed it and the employees, just as their relationship to work is suffering. What is it then possible to consider to improve the morale of all and especially to keep it?

According to a recent opinion poll conducted by Opinion Way on behalf of the firm Empreinte Humaine, the psychological pressure felt by employees has increased significantly. 30% of them find that the competition between colleagues has increased and that customers have become more aggressive. The latter therefore has an impact on their motivation and their professional commitment decreases. While more than four out of ten employees (42%) find their work less pleasant than before, they are almost as numerous to declare that they are no longer as proud to work for their company. But the most worrying figure is that one out of two employees says that if he stays in his company, it's for lack of anything better!

How is the pandemic responsible for this growing malaise at work? If there is first the pressure linked to the economic recession, there is also that of telework. Despite the fact that seven out of ten employees consider themselves more efficient at home than in the office and wish they could continue to do so in the future, 41% of them feel isolated. More than half acknowledge that this is detrimental to team spirit, which probably explains the growing feeling of competition between employees. Finally, 53% of the employees questioned also have the impression that with telework, they are becoming production machines.

As for managers, they are between a rock and a hard place. The pressure is even greater and for many of them working from home is hell. For them, it is much more difficult to manage remote teams, especially when they are reduced by partial unemployment, quarantines or absenteeism. As a result, the stress ratio is twice as large and more important than the average for them.

At Dynam', aware that the problem has existed for several months, we have set up a whole series of activities to boost the morale of the troops. Our E-team building allows to exchange remotely, to federate, to dialogue, to reconnect between colleagues. In the form of discovery workshops, conferences, treasure hunts, challenges, competitions or incentives, all are personalized to meet the individual needs of each team. “Keeping up morale” is essential today for HR leaders, but also for business leaders, both for the well-being of their employees and for the health of their own company. It is for this reason that we are happy to help you set up an original project aimed at achieving your objectives and certifying your human leadership.info@dynam.ch
